Flight Officer Charles H. (Pete) Schreiber

Attached to Headquarters Squadron, 65 ^th Fighter Wing F/O Schrieber died in a plane accident in England. He flew with the Canadians until July of 1943, when he was transferred to the U.S. Army Air Corps with the Rank of Flight Officer.  Schrieber flew a Thunderbolt.  He was out of combat flying on non-operational tasks when the crash occurred.

Flight Officer Charles H. Schrieber is buried in Plot F Row 5 Grave 36 at Cambridge American Cemetery in Cambridge, England
